Heileman Brewing Company's facilities, the company revived the brewing tradition of the original City Brewery established in 1858 by John Gund and Gottlieb Heileman. The La Crosse plant boasts a twin-stream brewhouse capable of producing 16 brews per day at 1,100 barrels each, totaling an annual capacity of nearly 7 million barrels.
